  9.                           Installation Instructions

  11.    If you are a first-time user of BaR Front End, please install BaR using 
  12.    the BaRstall.cmd script.  The reason for this is simple - it determines 
  13.    the date format for your system which is necessary when specifying date 
  14.    specific backups/restores, and it also constructs subdirectories beneath
  15.    BaR's own directory to reflect the drives on your system, required if 
  16.    you intend to use the .INI file backup feature.  You must also place the
  17.    VX-Rexx runtime dll, vrobj.dll, in a directory specified by the libpath 
  18.    statement in your config.sys file.  BaR v.2.14 requires version 2.0b of 
  19.    the DLL to work.

  21.    If you are an existing user of BaR Front End, replace the vrobj.dll file
  22.    with the one contained in the archive.  BaR v.2.14 requires version 2.0b
  23.    of the VX-Rexx runtime dll to work.  Replace the .exe and .hlp file, as 
  24.    well.  The help file is now a hypertext OS/2 help file as opposed to an 
  25.    text file as in version previous to 2.14.

  29.    In order to use BaR, you need the following:

  31.       Rexx support installed
  32.       VROBJ.DLL v.2.0b
  33.       backup.exe
  34.       restore.exe

  38.    The archive should contain the following 7 files:

  41.       bar.ico      -- icon file
  42.       bar.hlp      -- OS/2 hypertext help file

  45.       read.me      -- this file
